Dear Colleagues:
Now that we have successfully emerged from Chapter 11 and our headquarters move is nearing completion, it is time to shift our focus to the future. As an airline, we look very different than we did a year ago. Today, we are a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. Together, we are forging a path as a single, unified airline rather than an amalgamation of three separate carriers. As we continue this journey, it?s important to remember our heritage. Nearly all of our employees started with one of the three airlines that formed Pinnacle Airlines Corp. Each airline had unique cultural elements. Our task going forward is to adopt the best characteristics of each and at the same time, eliminate the cultural and regulatory barriers that are preventing us from becoming a unified, cohesive airline.
Many of you have suggested that renaming our airline would provide momentum on our journey of becoming the best regional airline in the U.S. We?ve heard you and I?m excited to share that after considering nearly fifty possible names, we have chosen one which we feel best represents what we are striving to become: Endeavor Air.
There were various copyright, trademark and legal issues that had to be addressed and we now know that our proposed logos can be cleared for use. Next week, we will send information so that you can go online and vote for your favorite logo option. The plan is to unveil your winning choice on June 26 in conjunction with a ribbon cutting at the formal dedication of our new headquarters in Minneapolis. We will establish a working group to determine the legal date that we can begin calling ourselves Endeavor Air and using the new logo.
We chose Endeavor Air because it evokes an image of innovation, excitement and the adventure of a journey. Endeavor describes our mission to strive for excellence and captures not only the extraordinary efforts we?ve made, but also those that are still ahead of us. 'To endeavor' is to describe aviation from its very beginning.
Endeavor Air represents the starting point for redefining our airline. From here, we will blend the best of what we know with new ideas aimed at making Endeavor Air the best place to work in the regional industry.
Everything we have accomplished thus far is because of you, the people of Endeavor Air. Thank you very much for your dedication and commitment to your colleagues and to our airline.
Let this day mark the beginning of a successful Endeavor Together!
Sincerely,
Ryan
What is wrong with a hat? Rather have spikey hair with sunglasses on top and a backpack I guess? Like 9e and go-jetters why does this industry just keep sliding into the gutter?
Every professional airline crew member should wear a FULL uniform and present a neat image.

By definition jet blue and virgin have a uniform standard. But I am sure you don't like that because it does not fit into your 70's polyester suit, mustache, hat, and cowboy boots image. Lets go back 30 more years and go with khakis and a leather jacket. Now that's professional.
