Anybody been to the Citation Center in MCO? Thinking about going there to take a tour.

The transition from the Embraer to the X is easy. Its having to listen to the X captain telling you how great they are, and that since you came from a regional, you are worthless.

Not true ski! I tell ANYONE from the airline industry how worthless they are, not just the regionals! ;)
And my greatness speaks for itself, no need to vocalize it.

Well at least someone has a sense of humor . And yes Captain, you are the best pilot ever.

Ha, atleast your not 29, been flying since 18, airlines at 21 and still getting lessons because they think your just getting started because your an SIC...Oh well, for now I'll revert to the response, "yes sir I'm comfortable with a rolling take-off"...

The joys of being an SIC:laugh:

Or that you are closing in on 29, have been flying since 5, and are on your third aviation employer, the previous two airlines having furloughed you.

Ah the joys of seniority.

Or that you're closing in on 39, been flying since 15, flying private jets since 21, and get paired with a 29-year-old who for 7 straight days can't stop telling you how they used to do it at XYZ carrier and why can't we do it that way here?:D

can the X out climb a 757 or 767 from start to finish??

Came out of BFI one day and a Delta 767 out of SEA-TAC around the same time going SE. Anyway he was all twisted up about being behind a "Slowtation". He came on and said but center we will be doing mach .82 why can't we pass him?. Seattle said because he will be doing .92 mach it's not a SLOWTATION RELAX DELTA

I'd say flying those constant transcons and super-busy schedules on the X at Netjets are worth it for that reason alone... Well, maybe not. Still, it's better to have speed when you need it.

Now you know a X can't pass a service center without making a stop :0 I love the machine, it's sexy and fun but uhm.

XOjet

Im thinking about getting on with Xo jet. Anyone have the low down on them? QOL,PAY,stability? personel there?

I know quite a few guys that have gone over to XO in the past 6 mos, they all speak highly of the company, good stock options, qol, pay (if you're previously typed and can upgrade PIC quick), etc. There's a big section that T-Bone runs in Charters on XO. Check it out, and good luck!

Few years ago, we were gaining speed on F16's over Colorado, granted they hadn't kicked on their afterburners, but it was fun!!
