Why is there a column integrated on the CRJ70-90 payscale of E170 and E175 airframes? Is that to do with the big announcement?

As I recall you guys have had a big announcement right around the corner for the last year, give it up. For what its worth We have every RJ in our contract, its managements way of not having to worry about negotiating a new plane rate while trying to get new flying.

You might be right, but I thought the E190 was comparable to the CRJ90, not the E175.

I start CRJ ground at Skywest this month. Could somebody shed some light for me on this new payscale? This is the first I am hearing about it. Thanks.

It just got sent to the pilots tonight. New hire pay would go up to $22/hr. most of the payscale is 2-3%

If passed by our pilot group, first year pay goes from $19.50/hr to $22/hr, but first year FOs no longer get block hour override for the 700/900 (5%)

Anyone other than new hires getting a raise?

cool, you can all fly bigger planes for less and under non-union terms....great job Skywest

It is not a raise. It's a shell game of moving money around and making it look like a raise.

To all you dumbA$$e$ that voted no on ALPA. What did you expect?

Its a joke. Your 1yr pay is up, but things that you receive now are taken away. Things that are given to most of us, you won't get in your 1st year. One item was frozen instead of increasing the next 3 years. One increase is not going into effect for another year.

Oh, yeah and ALL of the QOL items that were being discussed, many of which we have been discussing for years, items that were advertised by SAPA (the president and reps) that would be included and supposed to be part of this proposal are NOT included. With no plan of action that has been disclosed to us about how, when, and what is going on with those items.

Encourage those you know that are here or soon to be here to read it carefully and talk to others before voting.

just got back from a jumpseat ride on southwest...(thanks guys) seems they are expecting skywest soon.....

Don't believe the hype. If the payraise works for you, take it. If it doesn't, vote it down. If the majority vote yes, then the greater good of the pilots was served. If it is voted down, then the interest of the greater good was not addressed. In this industry, with oil at almost $100, you're lucky they aren't proposing pay cuts for everyone.

Looks like Uncle Jerry is finally giving you your "reward" for voting down the union. Don't spend it all in one place.

You're missing the point. If they went union they would have the ASA contract or better. Right now, they are thankful for scraps.

Not really. You mean after 5 years of negotiating after voting in a union, they MAY have a contract like ASA.

Probably not 5 years, but yes, you're right there would be a negotiating period. But the end result is predictable due to the precedent ASA set. Negotiations are based on precedent, especially with the same parent company.

The SKYW business model

After an appropriate time the atmosphere is tested to determine the level of unrest. Then an adjustment is made to placate the masses, never giving more than is needed, just enough to quiet the few that may start to think for themselves. Peace and order is restored under the protective wing of SGU.

And then the Beehive returns to happily churning out money for the Elders.
