Was wondering if someone would be able to help out on where to send an app to EJI not NetJets but EJI themselves.

And before anyone says anything, Yes I have searched and not been able to find it. Yes I know they probably are not hiring and Yes I know they probably have a lot of resumes but would still like to put the resume in.

Thanks

The info for NJI is on the NJA web site, which lists the minimums to apply:

5000 hrs Total Time
500 hrs in Gulfstream

Looks like you will have better luck putting in an app at NJA.

That is not true ... it is strictly who you know ... I know two people at NJI now who were hired with NO Gulfstream time - both within the last five years.

They generally stick with their basic requirements; the two exceptons I remember were an F16 guy and a C-141 guy who had great interviews and NJI thought that the Air Force flight training was somewhat compensatory for the lack of Gulfstream time (and they did know someone inside the organization, but how does that differ from FedEx?).

The reason given for starting the EJI program as I understand it was so it would only be staffed with experienced Gulfstream pilots. Just putting the lie to the myth - given basic ability, who you know plays a large part in life period. That always has and always will be true - there ain't no normal life, just life. If you want justice, go to a whore house, if you want to get screwed, go to court.

Pay scales there?

Whats first year SIC pay? How do annual raises go?

I think I know the 141 guy from the airforce. could anybody pm his e-mail so I might say hi?

A friend of mine called me two days and was just hired by EJI with an April class date. While he did have over 5000 TT, he had ZERO Gulfstream time. He came from Independence and had never upgraded there.

From what I know about EJI, it is ALL about WHO you know.

Talking to a EJI GIV driver it is my understanding they start in the low 70s. He had a problem with the fact that there is no published pay schedule - noone knows what anyone else makes and some suspect they make less than pilots junior to them. This is all hearsay as they get pretty close mouthed on details in public and just repeat how great it is there.

Interesting.

My friend just got hired last month. He had no G-time and flew tankers in the Air Farce, ummmm Force. Pay for FO"s with very little international experience... around $68K based on 167 days per year. He had a friend their. Now I do too, so my apps in as well.
