CptCrunch, ignore the static in this thread. Most of us corporate pilots are decent folks just making a living doing what we love, and looking out for each other. Your efforts are appreciated. It's a much different culture then the frac's.

THANKS for the info Cpt crunch. I just put my resume into Eclipes Aviation just to see what might happen. You never know so best of luck!
 
I agree that the insurance company probably had some input on the minimums. The other big factor is that they want to fly single pilot in an aircraft without a tremendous history and avionics that just were approved.
It will take some time for the insurance industry to get comfortable with the aircraft. the single pilot thing is more tied to proven avionics and auto pilot than to the individual.
