Hey buddy I don't fly outta SIU the program is actually not racked up to be what it is. It took a family member to finally get thru to me to explain why I shouldn't ever consider GJ. I have the commercial ticket and I can tell you right now there won't be any apps sent into GJ. I'm the first to admit I supported and now I would never think of that place. Enjoy your ride at GJ Cx.

Ok then you have no right to judge others who are or aren't at GJ when you yourself were defending them. It's called hypocrisy.

your just bumping a thread that no one gives a ******************** about anymore.

Not true Junior.
There was quite a bit of interest in this thread on the 19th, including yourself. Then all of the sudden on the morning of the 20th, YOU decided to bring it back to life.
You just wish no one cared about this thread, because it reveals the real you. The college kid who hasn't been there yet, but thinks he knows it all. The kid who wants to go to GoJet, because he wants to get his first real airline job at 300 hours. But now he claims that he has seen the day of light when his cousin/ good friend talked him out of GoJet......like you had a chance to begin with at GoJet.
You speak as if they showed an ounce of interest in you.
Now if you knew anything about who is a pilot there, you'd keep your mouth shut. You have many furloughed guys there. You have some ex-military as well as former TWA pilots there......you even old enough to know who TWA was? Even your former CFI who hated GJ so much, he's flying for them. He had a choice. I guess he didn't hate them much after all.

We all know you're type. They don't last very long. In the end, GJ wouldn't even consider you.

Naw your bumping ******************** that no body responded on for 2 days. No one gives a ******************** anymore never did to be exact.

Jesus H. Ka-rist on a pogo stick...what is with SIU?? They produced these two degenerates...hopefully they aren't indicative of the rest of the student body.

SIUcav...congrats on getting 5000 hours TT just a year out of college. Are you really that hard up that you feel the need to "enhance" your TT just to seem cool to an anonymous message board?

Year out of college? What gave you that impression?

Most SIU grads are down to earth good guys.
Just like every University with a flight school, there are a few guys who stand out like these two.
As for his TT. It's a bit odd how he has all this time now, considering he was only with Eagle for about 2 years, flew in the ME for a couple of months.

And instructed for four years, and flew 135 on a Citation. ;)

Zero, just got the job. Have flown it a few times, but zero as rated. Getting typed next month in Savannah. DEC first class date.

We'll say you flew 1400 hours at AE.
3600 hours in 3-4 years?
Why would someone with 3,600 hour apply to Eagle when you could go to NetJets...CitationShares or any other fractional?

I flew 1800 with Eagle. I was a flight instructor for four years and racked up 2500 hours there. Flew a Citation 2 for about 200 hours. Flew about 200 hours in the mid east.
Go to Netjets with 1800 hours in a 172, 700 hours in a 150 and 200 hours in a Citation 2, with no ATP? You think I was competitive? Wow maybe I should have applied there instead of Eagle.

You said you had 2500 hours flight instructing, plus your 200 hours in a Citation. that's 2700 hours. before you went to AE, correct?

Plus flight school time!! His stories are nothing but exaggerations. He got to fly a G5 a couple of times?? Sure, just for the hell of it too. I know I know SIU, you really don't care what people think. So you won't mind that people feel you have NO credibility here. Good luck w/ the new gig, if there even is one. One positive is your avatar though, so not a total waste.

This is the thread that never ends...it just goes on and on my friend....some people..started typin without knowin what it was.................................

Different thread:
I do have about 2800 hours in the EMB 145, and 250 in the Legacy so I do have some experience.

2800 / 2yrs at AE?!?
(reserve + line + duty limits)

...now its 1800?

Not trying to expose you as some kind of fraud, but now that the can has been opened, it does seem like your hours in type fluctuate.

Very good you caught my mistype, guess my fat fingers pressed the two instead of the one they need to make the Blackberrys numebers bigger, thanks for straightening me out.
I should probably go through my logbooks and break down my times to the exact amount, right down to the tenths for you guys!
My Legacy time is somewhere between 200 and 250 hours. It is the same type as the 145 so I have it all logged the same.

Ain't buying it.
You went back and edited that post where you said you had 2800 hours in the ERJ. So you reread what you had typed and corrected something or added something you forgot to add. But in the end, you edited it

...not catching that you had added an extra 1,000 hours to your actual flight time.

So reserve life is so bad at AE, that you've become overly bored to dream up this second life of yours. Where you're a highly paid coorperate GV pilot of the suburbs of Chicago.

To put an end to the back'n'forth, I instructed at the same school with siu, stand up guy, and can't imagine him making this stuff up about the G-550.

Like he says, not always about what but who you know. If siucav is with a particular company that I'm thinking of, it is through an SIU alumn/SIU CFI. Might be wrong, but doubt it.

So put down your calculators and let the guy have his dream job. Flying a G-550 with his flight experience? Yeah, he needs to know the right people at the right place. And guess what, he does. How'bout them apples.
