be99fr8dog here's an interesting situation, you and I seem to have about the same hours, you are CFI and I'm FSO...so say we are equally qualified. Now, I quit my present position because of whatever reason...go to Flightssafety, get a rating on a/c type x, then goto Eagle and pay for 100 hours on a/c type x.
Then I apply for a position at the company you work at...and shock and horror...I get hired then we get rostered to fly together....now what are you going to refuse to fly with me?are my building blocks bollocks in your eyes? what if be some quirk of fate, I am better at the job than you and I dont wanna fly with you ......
your arguement holds its own, if you are referring to a low time and I mean 300 hour to 500 or 700 hour CPL. Depending on the ops they have done. That , I think is the crux....the experience and professionalism that a pilot brings into the cockpit. Not where he got his hours from.
135pilot and icywings, pm me, I wanna speak to you guys.
