Good luck Eagle flow ups. I am not trying or influence your decision on coming over to AA, but it is not a position i would want to be in. Why would anybody leave a good paying left seat position, probably home based to commute to a mia or jfk 20 days on reserve to fly with a bunch of Cap. that will make your live completely miserable. That is if you even make it out of training. Just trying to make sence of it.

Try gaining a grasp on basic grammar and punctuation.

Get over yourself. There are junior guys that *grasp* fly RJ's that are better pilots that you are.

Listen here dumba$$.......AE training is much tougher that AA training.....our guys would not have any trouble passing AA training......UR captains giving our guys trouble......Not unless they put themselves in jeopardy as well........Im sure AA wouldnt tolerate harassment or a hostile work environment.....

Not saying AA training is tougher, just passing what is being said online. Not going to be fun, but back to the question. WHY WOULD ANY ONE past 40 years old WANT TO COME OVER?
 
Boy, I don't know why anyone would WANT to go work for AA.................oh yeah, now I remember, maybe because for every one mediocre airline job (such as AA) there are 20-30 sheeety jobs out there where the good majority of us will end up spending most of our careers at. Not everyone is gonna make it to SWA, JB, FED EX, UPS, etc..........fill in the blank.
 
Don't worry no one who is flowing will read this. I am pretty sure none of them have even heard of Flightinfo.com let a lone the Internet.

Why the animosity towards eagle pilots? Do they have any control over your life there at AA?

The one's that will be in class next month will not be at the bottom and depending on the base/equip award may not sit reserve. Better retirement benifits would be one reason.
 
I'd rather be the most junior MD-80 pilot at AA than the most senior CRJ-700 captain at Eagle any day. Take a look at the retirement alone.

And what happens to that retirement when AA goes bankrupt under the weight of its huge pension liability? What is it now - $700 million per year and growing? AA has the worst financial structure in the airline biz. I'd continue to build my time at Eagle and apply to Delta (this fall?) and Fedex/UPS when they start hiring again in a few years. What's the upgrade time now at AA - 20 years? Yeah, no thanks. AA is a dinosaur.

Remember those tests we took as kids that gave us a bunch of words or pictures and asked which one didn't belong. Well, what airline mentioned above doesn't belong being mentioned in the same breath with the others?

What a sad industry we have, when people like this want to choose the company WITHOUT retirement pensions over those that do.
