I wasn't saying anything about ones ability. I was referring to a strictly recruiting standpoint. All things being equal an airline that starts out in turboprops would have a harder time recruiting military pilots vs. an airline that would start him out in a 737/A-320 size jet.

My question to you is why would it matter if it was harder to recruit military pilots? Who gives a rats colon? Furthermore, the last time I checked the U.S. Military operates their fair share of turbo-props. Bottom line: military pilots are pilots who simply got their training elsewhere. It doesn't make them any better than civillian guys.

They still don't teach crosswind landing in the Military do they?

Why Not? Jet Blue is offering Sh*t wages to fly em!!!! .....and if you bitch too much there or try to start a union they terminate your 5 year contract!!

Oh, I imagine their prospects are a bit better than yours, but hey, carry on!

Here's a thought:

Why not just get rid of all the jets and buy a fleet of C-172's and fly a million of those around. I think that woud be awesome. Then we wouldn't even need to spend any money on flight attendants. that would save millions!!

I fly a C-172 by the way.
