I really can not believe I just spent the time looking over this thread. I must be really bored! The FAR's should be completely rewritten regarding duty and flight times and broken down into different categories: Legacy rules, Legacy Ch 11 rules, supplemented by Boeing fleet only and/or Airbus fleet only rules, National/Major rules, LCC rules, Regional Jet rules, Regional Turboprop rules, Cargo rules, and of course shorter times for each for pilots who complain about their company that sends them their paycheck more than once an hour, during a 12 hour duty day.
