Hey guys i was wondering if anyone can help me out with a question i have...
I am currently living and finishing my training in Canada (CPL, Multi IFR, float rating), but i have dual Citizenship and am looking into coming down to the United States to work because the Canadian market is not the best market for job searching when your a "young" pilot....there arent many jobs up here and if there is you have to work your ass off on the ramp somewhere way up north in -55 for 2 years before getting into a plane (which i dont mind but i would prefer to move ahead as quick as possible)...plus all the nice planes that come to Canadian airports have American registration
does anyone know how i can convert my Canadian licesnes to American? what i have to do and how much $$?
also i have heard that in the US people mostly instruct before going into the market for a job...is that the best way to go or can a person get a job flying right seat on a PA-31 for a bit and then move their way up from there?
last question does anyone know any sites on the net where i can look up some small starting companies that would hire low timmers?
Thanks in advance for your help
