I have 0 fear of arbitration. If you had half a clue as to whats going on, not what you assume is going on you would understand why there is no fear. You choose to assume you know while in actuality you have NO clue as to anything you blabber on about!

Ex-cuse me? Is it top secret information? I happened to miss it at my newest airline, and thankfully won't see it at my previous one, but that doesn't mean it is hard to understand. Maybe for you, but not for the rest of us. What most of you SWA guys fear is AT guys winning the "lottery" as many of you say it, all thanks to your own bargaining. Guess what? Those AT guys will work just as hard as you will to make your airline do well. GK will be paying them, and you won't be losing a dime. They are bringing planes to the table, and more routes and hubs. It's time for you and others here to get off your high horses and see that AT pilots bring something to the table, and shouldn't be threatened, which has happened a lot on FI. Just go to arbitration, have your lawyers speak for your group, and then roll the dice. Now, was that hard to understand? Not for me.

Like I said I have 0 fear. When I go to bed at night I know I already have my job, along with my great pay and benefits. An arbitrator can not take that away. Now go play with your friends in the double breasted suit club and leave this up to those that it affects.

I own 23 shares of the airline I work for.

Dude, that's hilarious. Thanks for making my evening.

Most Southwest employees (not just pilots) own THOUSAND of shares of LUV. I have over 400 and gaining every single month.

I'm glad your proud of your company and can sleep well at night, and just as Stalker has said..I have ZERO issues with the SLI. Southwest was a great company that takes care of their employees before May 2nd, and they will be afterward. Awesome place to work.

My view is that of a consumer, my wife travels to ABQ from DTW 6-7 times per year. Right now the trip for the first week of August is $430 RT SWA, $330 RT Frontier, $350 AAL, and DAL, plus a bunch more under $400, SWA is not the lowest cost carrier. Now they have a lot going for them , like no charge ticket changes, no baggage fees.

Your right about them not being the lowest cost carrier but unlike the public we should be able to look through the PR mega machine that Southwest is and know that you do pay a ticket change charge and a baggage fee. That is embedded in the price of the ticket so whether you use that service or not you are paying for it. I don't care how "nice" the Southwest corporate culture is they are not giving anything away for free. Let me repeat that THEY ARE NOT GIVING ANYTHING AWAY FOR FREE.
