Does Air Tran hire into the 737?

If not how long to hold it?

How are the 4 days on the 737 23+ hours, long or short overnights out on the westcoast?

How is seniority picked in class?
Is it by B-day or SSN?

Thanks

Bo

Time to leave ASA

Got hired in the 737 over a year ago and it went by age. Right now there are more 717 guys bidding CA on the 737, therefore the need for more 717 fo's. I think there is a 2 year seat lock if you wind up on the 717.

If we get all the deliveries by 2011 the fleet size will be around 110 737's and 87 717's, but who the He11 knows what will really happen by then.

Supposedly still receiving around 15 or so 737's for next year. I like the skeds on the 73, with some nice west coast layovers ( SAN get in 11:00 am, go out the next morn.), but I do a mix east and west, 3 and 4 day trips. LAS, LAX, SEA are pretty good too. I try to avoid the red-eyes. So far so good.

If you are that selective, you probably won't do well in the interview...if you even get one...

If you want the job bad enough, you take what you can get, wait it out, and when you have seniority, you can have your cake too.
