calm down guys I was just asking a simple question. No im not that selective I was just curious if it ever happened but typical FI.com people response is to jump all over you. A simple yes or no would have been fine.

There hastn't been much FO new hire spots for the 737 for the summer. From May till Aug, it's been all 717. There's about 4 spots in the Aug 3rd class, and i haven't talked to the folks recently, so it might change.

Your seniority within your class is based on age. And i've seen most of the new hires average about 35-40 years old.

Last vacancy notice for October 07 shows 11 717 FO and 9 737 FO. Good luck, after x numbers of years at ASA I can see how the 73 trips would be a change of scenery.

I wasn't directing at you. I was directing at the ass that suggested using it to get 73 time to go to SWA.

Hey a$$ face,

I know a few Air Tran people who have done that - moved on to bigger and better things at SWA. Yeah, you heard me right. Getting 737 experience at Air Tran wouldn't hurt for that application and people do that. I know people who have done that at CAL as well. Now, you can stick your head in the sand and be oblivious or you can acknowledge that some people do not aspire to flying for Air Tran for the rest of their career. Quit being so sensitive, Dad.

My comment was also a bit tongue and cheeck but evidently you don't appreciate sarcasm. Big surprise.

Hmmmm.....trying to read text and find a sarcastic tone. That's a bit hard to do, especially with no other punctuation oR little smiley guys. Sorry for misreading.

On the other hand, I'm quite well aware that people do that. My point is, if they don't wanna be at AAI in the first place, don't waste AAI's time and money. Wait for the precious SWA :)puke:)to call. I can understand they might not want to make a career at AAI....so then don't bother to go in the first place.

Kinda sounds like you're being the sensitive one. I agree with FlyFastLiveSlow, don't waste AAI's time if it's not what you want. I understand that AAI is not the "end all be all" but neither is SWA. Maybe your head is in the sand and you're oblivious that some people do want AAI as there career.
What's it to you anyway? Enjoy your 145.

Maybe he got rejected at AAI.

BO... don't pull your AirTran app just yet....just reading this thread might make you think everyone here is uptight....we're just frustrated (not sexually....at least not me...) about the TA.

Just for the record, 2500 hours in the 737 didn't mean squat during my SWA interview. ( don't pop a vein Flyfast, I interviewed at SWA before AirTran).

I'm from Georgia, I don't commute, I like it here and don't plan to leave, but not everyone is at the same place in life. Good luck if you decide to come over to AAI, there are alot of good people over here.
