Do we have our rigs at ASA yet?

.....since your on the "inside" and involved in implementation, when is this info going to be put out? What was the reason for giving the company a pass on the naps for the 31st?....

I'm most likely not who you think I am (not involved in that at all). But the weekly emails usually go out on Fridays... I imagine it will be covered...

I basically got my information by the post on the ALPA board, FWIW.

Not correct. I have a 3-day that carries into February. The last day has one leg which is under 3:45. Etrip does NOT show me getting the min day credit. The implementation letter states "January bid cycle". This trip was part of the December bid cycle to be flown in January (it happened to carry into Feb). That's what I'm thinking anyway

My line for next month does not reflect the min day credit on Etrip yet. Sounds like they still have some more work to do.

I don't know, I don't speak for those guys, but they probably didn't put it out because it wasn't resolved yet! Better to wait and put out accurate info than to put out something wrong...

So sorry you lost your 7 hours of pay or whatever, but this isn't all about just you, I'm sure you'll be just fine. What would you do to "plan on it" anyway? Not bid naps?

Daily open time bidding opens at midnight tonight. I don't think that reserve buckets start until March or April.

So you are telling me that the new open time system starts tonight.....and not ONE WORD of information has come out from either side on how this works? Where do we go to do this? I thought the company needed time to develope this new software system. Is anybody going to tell us how this works?

As far as I know, it will work just like the old system (i.e. through Flica). So much for needing time to develop the "new" system.

Next question....where does it say in the contract that the bucket system starts in March or April. I cannot find it anywhere!

Flica as always had that system. Flica can turn it on at anytime. Airtran uses Flica, and flica approves or deny the trip trade right then !!

EXACTLY!!!! So why did we have to wait from the Dec 17th as it was in the implementation schedule?!?!? What did the company give us in return for waiting 6 weeks? And, who is lying about having to wait for the software to be developed???

I agree with Joe, something needs to be said about how the company was given free passes at some of this stuff. What did the pilots get in exchange for giving up 24 hour open time that was supposed to go in effect on 17 December?

What I'd really like to know is what we, the pilot group, received as compensation for postponing the rigs until Jan 31? Looking at the line award credits, we all got about 25 hours a month more than usual if a line holder. That's a nice chunk of change ALPA gave up (and saved the company) by letting them delay the rig implementation two months.

And it's not like they needed to re-work how they write lines. Feb looks like the same unproductive crap we've been doing.

So what's the story? Why is the MEC going soft on the company after 5+ years of posturing? I'm really beginning to wonder if we need some fresh air in the union.

.....that's the confusing part.....5+years of chest thumping "burn the house down".....then roll over on the little stuff.....To top it off it's 5 days before the 31st, and over 2 months since the signing, and still no official word on it.....
