Not to worry about the snow/ice LJ. We'll just jump in my trusty airport car and go to BW3's for some wangs!

Its not the containers and sort building that are costing the delays alone. I was jumpseating on an Astar flight the other day and we were on a large delay. I ask the loaders what the big delay was and they were waiting for a fax from Astar that gives them the order that the A's go on the plane. No weight and balance is done plane side like on ABX. Once the aircraft is loaded according to the fax, a call is placed to the Astar load people after loaded. Then they receive another fax with the total load plan for the crew. These faxes come over a portable fax in the tugs. Sometimes they have trouble with them.
