And you know all about the regionals, right? Like how the 50-seat model is dying at Delta? Why is SkyWest picking up two more pro-rate 50-seat markets in June? CUI and PLN. Oh right, because pro-rate doesn't count against Delta's 50-seat scope agreement with its pilots.

From Paul Jacobson, CFO, during the last conference call:

"We are on track to retire more than 70 50-seaters this year, which would put that fleet below 200 aircraft at the end of the year. The refleeting gives us a strong tailwind on unit cost as we leverage our scale to produce capacity much more efficiently."

I'd say your 50 seater days are numbered. These management types seem giddy about dumping them, and UAL and AA are next. You did add some AA stuff at ORD, but a lot of that is temporary. Throw in questions about future pilot hiring and where you will source new pilots, especially when all 3 legacies really open the doors, and the whole Regional industry will be on shaky ground. The Regionals will shrink and compete for what is left over, at a discount or lose it.

No tears from me. I just feel it's a shame how bad this forum has become over the years. And I feel it's because they let clowns like GL run wild. Every thread that he touches immediately gets thrown off course. And if it does happen to be about aviation, it's the same story over and over again. Suspend him again, what good will that do? He'll be back and it'll be the same thing all over again. In my opinion, they ought to have a 3 strikes and your out policy.

Hmmmm. Sounds like you also resort to name calling, you hypocrite. Read the post above, my response to Xpoo. I have a well thought out response that has truth in it, but eventually watch idiots like Percy and Freetard try to add their slams. Oh well, I'm correct. Bye now Kim Jon Un.

And yet, SkyWest's pro-rate flying continues to grow. On 50-seaters. For Delta. Go figure.

Any thread in which GL, Merciful Fate, Freebrd and XPOO interact ends up going to he!!. It's inevitable. Straight to middle-school name calling and personal insults. It gets very old quickly. The moderators are useless. Back to APC....

Excuse me...no name calling here. Unless referring to him as Beetlejuice is name calling. He likes 80s nostalgia, so I thought it was fitting. If it were the 90s he was more fond of I would have used Candyman.

You're right, I should've left the clown part out. But I stand by the rest of my post. Your thought out response is nothing new.

Your obsession with me and freeturd is getting creepy

It's great you recognize your own hypocracy. And, you haven't added anything that you consider "old." None of you add anything of substance, even if you consider it "old news." Do you have any insight or thoughts on the future of this industry? Any guesses? I'd love to hear your thoughts Nostradamus.

I already told you what the future of the industry was going to be. You continue to spit out public quotes from people who say what the public (and you) want to hear.

CUI? I tried to look that up and found Currillo, Colombia. You guys are going there? For DL? Hmmmm. Looks like PLN is Pellston, MI. That one may be nice during the Summer, but then again you sit at a desk and dream of wonderful places like PLN.....

So, how about Manziel going to the Browns! Oh, sorry, I see the topic here is about MRJs. My bad. :)

Sorry I don't put much credibility in a SKW dispatcher....... You probably also know future Powerball and Mega Millions numbers too. Public quotes from management types is about all we are gonna get. If you listen in on your CEO's private calls, then that might give your credibility a boost, otherwise you get as much info as the bathroom cleaner in SGU.

Watching what has happened recently with new hiring rules, new fatigue rules, and the amount of pilots coming up the pipeline, I'd say it ain't lookin great for any Regional. SKW may be one of the better ones of the litter, but eventually it too will feel the pinch of the lack of pilots. The once certainty of profits is gone for the feeders, instead replaced by lowest cost gets the feed. (Except to CUI and PLN?). The legacies will fly more previous Regional routes inhouse (where they were before the Regionals started), and the big 3 will get bigger and stronger thanks to consolidation. Ancillary fees will help the legacies, and the Regional feed will not share in those fees.

What to do? Regional employees need to realize what is happening and make plans accordingly. Apply to the legacies and LCCs. This may be "old news" according to gojo (Nostradamus), but it's still true today.

Do you have an idea where the MRJs will fly, if they actually do "fly" that is?

You know GL, I absolutely cannot stand your continued blasting and demeaning attitude toward fellow pilots. We are all doing the same job. You seem to relish in the prospect of hard working folk, whatever age or stage in their career they may be, losing their employment, and perhaps their loved ones, while you look down from your ivory tower upon the lesser mortals unworthy of your concern.
I sincerely hope, someday, that you spout off some of your worthless nonsense to some big guy, without hiding behind your anonymity, and perhaps that person will happily rearrange your teeth for you!
You are a pariah here on FI. Nothing but trouble, and a total waste of space on these boards. It was a pleasure to see you gone for a while. Hopefully your next "vacation" will be for much longer.

And if, in your pea-brained mind, you somehow believe you contribute something here, you are mistaken. You contribute squat! Absolutely squat. No information that cannot be easily gained from perusal of aviation news and websites. You are useless. Worthless.
You think you have "inside" information to disseminate to your lowly colleagues? What a joke you are! Nothing but an internet troll and freak. You are some piece of work.
Now, go ahead and cry little girl.

Oh, pardon mois, my mistake, you can't reply, you're on your way to Paris or some other exotic destination I expect. Just get back to me when you can. I am so looking forward to some "advice".

As opposed to a guy who claims to be a Delta pilot? HAHAHA, you are one dumb dildo!!

What's wrong GL? Haven't finished with your hot nuts and chocolate fudge sundae yet, or no gogo over the pond perhaps? I bet you like hot nuts. Very appropriate for your ilk.
