Ok, I did my homework on the internet.. How about the “Baja beach club” and “Giggling Grizzly” in Denver?

Baja Beach Club, or the Baja B1tch Club, is closed and has been for a while. It was OK when it was around. Yhe waitresses wore Bikinis all night until the city cracked down and made them wear sarongs. Go to the one in Barcelona, Spain, it's much better.

Giggling Grizzly is cool, I believe it's a college crowd but not sure.

I think the wes site www.citysearch.com might point you in the right direction.

re BBC @ Barcelona, Spain..

Been there, done it! I was wondering if it was the same thing.. To bad they are closed..

During one of my cross country flights during my JAA training, I went with some friends from Amsterdam to Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Barcelona, Madrid, London and back.. Sure was fun!

Not even close to the one in BCN,

1) There's no beach right out back
2) The chicks weren't as hot
3) Not nearly as many hot chicks
4) The one in Denver could have used some hotter women
5) The women in BCN were alot more attractive
6) Denver's closed at 2am as opposed to BCN's 6am
7) Did I mention the women in Spain were hotter?

Madrid rocked! Palicio Givari, Cartuja, and Villa Rosa were great.

Kathy, the Brown Palace is a must, we stay there all the time. Order their Creme' brule (sp) awesome..

The downtown area Lodo whatever is all really great nowadays. You will not run out of things to do.

Thanks for your advice ladies and gentleman! Denver sure is fun… :D

Well, the time is getting closer to when I will be in DEN for the conference. It appears that I will have Friday evening free. Does anyone want to get together for cocktails?

Kathy

I suggest the Grizzly Rose, its a fun country bar go on a night when its only 21 not 18 and up. or anywhere in lodo Also go to boulder and check out pearl street. Lots of good restaurants, Pasta Jays, rhumbas, trios, chop house ........ The hippies aren't too bad they all drive range rovers anyways. Pearl has a lot of street performers which makes it pretty interesting to walk around on a nice day. have fun

Land Rovers/Range Rovers in Boulder? Where? I thought that was reserved for the yuppies over at Flatirons Crossing. The only thing I see in Boulder is a bunch of fired out hippies/younger gen hippies with VWs and pos hippie mobiles. I cant stand that town.

Hmmm, Friday the 15th? I know haven't been up on the board much lately, but it would be nice to meet some of you guys/gals. I'm in, and no work schedule conflicts either! PM me with some details OK?

hey denverdude if your looking for the yuppies drive around the "Hill" in boulder and you'll see what I'm talking about. I agree Flatirons crossings does have the yup factor to. When i went to school at CU I once walked out and found a bum sleeping in my jeep CJ7 during the summer gotta love the diversity of boulder.

Haha, was that bum a hippy or a real bum?
