el chapultapec.. live music in LoDo.... Have a cold beverage and listen to some jazz... Or try My Brother's Bar. A very cool joint that is hardish to find... Jack Kerouac used to hang out there... Get the JCB and a basket of fries and onion rings and a tepid Guiness... Life will be good....

never been there...........just remember it from South Park....which probably backs up your claims of it being a $hithole

At one time it was nice, now its not. It was fun as a kid but the place is really run down and has gone down hill. But hey, if its posining the tourists, thats what us natives need to scare them off

I just took the kids to Casa Bonita.... NOT good. Wierd place , lame food.
Try el taco de mexico or tacos estilo colims....

Which part of town are you staying? Burbs or downtown?

I will be staying at the Brown Palace Hotel in April for a convention. What is near there? We never stayed downtown when I was an FA; always near an airport. (imagine that! )
