800Dog said:The same. Just hoping for a change in direction. Would like to see DW go away and possibly ALPA as well. Status qou obviously is not working.
FDJ2 said:Glad to see that you're engaged and volunteering. Just curious, how do you feel that getting ALPA off the property would help in the future? Under our C&BLs we elect our own representatives, we set our own negotiating priorities, we select our own negotiators and we ratify our own PWAs?
800Dog said:The fact that I vote, volunteer, contribute to ALPA PAC and voice my opinion gives me the right to whine as you call it. How has the majority worked over the past five years? A change is needed. The profession has been raped without nearly a whimper from ALPA. What are you proposing? Status quo? No thanks!
The "enablers" are the majority. How do you intend to have majority follow your lead. I would suggest taking a bigger role, through increased participation, in the running of our union. Otherwise, it's just whining.
I have heard that same rhetoric for more years than I care to remember. We do participate – it’s called Union Dues.
Yawn.
I have heard from several at Delta that they are seriously trying to dump ALPA for the Teamsters. Any truth to this?
