Apparently the anticipated 6% Pilot pay restoration due to the pilot's in January has been reduced to 2%. This according to a recent Crew Lounge presentation a few days ago.

Management has massaged the numbers to come in just .03 % under the profit margin that would "trigger" the new pay rates.

Makes a Delta pilot wonder WTF is the purpose of going the extra mile for the company if they're just going to screw us again? I mean if we can't get a decent restoration of pay after a "historic" quarter with the "highest operating revenue in Delta's history" (company's words)-- Will we ever see anything significant in the promised profit sharing? Doubtful...

DAL take your ATTILA and stick it! Max blower full speed ahead.

You mean those MBAs and JDs hoodwinked the line pilots again? Gee whiz!

Maybe ALPA will one day learn to put professional negotiators up against professional negotiators, not line pilot negotiators who think they know it all. Then all of these loopholes will be closed.

And let me also add that with all of the outside consultants ALPA pays to assist the DMEC (what about ten?) there's no excuse for this!

line pilot negotiators who think they know it all.

How many careers have gone down in flames over the last 30 years because of this fact alone ........pathetic

Do it once....

If "do it once and do it right" applied, would this not qualify as fourth the time they "did it?"

General Lee....

I am missing hearing from our boy. Where the heck did gen Lee go? He should be rah-rahing this crap.

BF surprise!
Is anyone else really surprised by this?
<sarcasm> Management lying? Say it isn't so?</sarcasm>
Come on, its management 101 at its finest!
For all you yes voters out there, keep it up, you're doing great!

For any of you who actually believed you were ever going to get it, you deserve it.

You voted for it, you believed it, when there was no reason to. The same thing happened (is happening) at ATA with the bonus, profit sharing and variable compensation package with our concessionary TA back in '05.

You need to hold ALPA accountable. They're as guilty as management, because they knew the pilots would never see it.

Hey dork, I am here. Yeah, I don't know if this is true or not since I was not in the crew lounge meeting, but if it is it will be dissapointing to say the least. I am sure our guys are looking into it and making sure it is correct. If we honestly didn't pass the number, should we be truely upset? I want a raise just like the next guy, but if you don't pass the agreed upon number, then you just might not get it. Sure, there will be a lot of uproar, no doubt.

And, I have a feeling upgrading to bigger equipment or transitioning to the left seat will still increase our pay, and we are getting 30 or more planes next year alone. I think Jmoney is jealous. Yeah, he is.

Bye Bye--General Lee

He's trollin' the SWA threads while on his sweet Dakar overnight.

Nah, too senior on the ER to get those. I really have been enjoying Rio and Vienna, with the occasional Copenhagen. You have a great one now, ya hear? How's ISP going? I hear you are cutting frequency over there for lack of pax? That sux. How about MAF? You enjoy that.

General:
Where did you get 30 from?
I only know of the 4 777's, a few 737-700's and the rest of the 757's.
