Delta pilot killed in AMS

I never got it. The only things I've gotten the last couple of weeks are a few code-a-phone updates that all say the same thing, an R&I report, an update on the SLI progress and a Capitol Hill briefing.

Was it a local council blastmail? I'm NYC. Maybe that's why I didn't get it. If so, you'd think they'd send this to all pilots.

In any case, very sad to hear.

RIP,I stay in the same hotel as the Delta guys when in AMS. Thats terrible but it serves as a reminder that when in Europe the roads are narrow and the cars go in the wrong direction ...sometimes. Half the time I have no idea which way to look because the traffic patterns and the roundabouts do not make sense to me. I was also honked at in AMS while on a hotel bicycle as a car zoomed past me probably because I was in the wrong spot. Be careful out there.

Wow, that is terrible news. You really do have to watch out when in other countries. Cars come the wrong way that you are used to, and people can get into trouble. Sad news.
