Wow! I had no idea you guys flew these. I picked up a book published in 1974 and it showed one in Delta colors. That must have been pretty cool, huh?

Who flew one?

Actually Delta was the largest operator of L10's for a while. We had a fleet of 54 L1011's.

I think he was referring to the L-100 which is a C-130 in civilian use.

I saw a "coffee table book" on Delta. The L-100s (C-130s) were used as freighters from 1967 - 1973. We also had Dc-8 freighters for a while after the L-100s went away
