thanks dispatch guy... maybe agents are misinterpreting the rules or simply just don;t get them. What's does VRU stand for and what is it? I don't think it matters when an offline pilot checks in at the gate, it seems that the requirement only states that the pilot must be already in the pax/crew manisfest 75 minutes prior to dep. I guess this where VRU comes in. Here is s scenario : What if a regular paying customer decides to check in at the gate or ticket counter let's say 45 or 60 minutes prior to departure with no bags to check? Will he/she be denied boarding? What do the agents know that we don't and where are they geeting that info? There should be more information on Deltamatic GRS but I no longer have access to it. Perhaps you can take a look at it. The entry is G*JSA and it should leaad you in the right direction. Pls keep me posted on anything you find out,,,, This is still a very mysterious issue with DL and no on has come to a definate answer.
