We could ride on each other's airlines almost immediately after the merger was announced. But it was kind of a pain to do it because you had to jump through several hoops to do it and use a paper ticket. It wasn't seemless and electronic until about a year later.
Yep, but they were not of the same priority as you held on your carrier. It became truly seamless a few months ago with the changeover to all DAL flight numbers and ticket stock.

It was a couple of weeks after it was announced. It was like a ZEd fare ticket with no cost. I used it a lot being a CVG to DTW commuter. I think what you are talking about is when we could e-ticket on each others airline. That happend a couple of months after coporate closing and as ACL wrote it wasn't seamless until a couple of months ago.
