4. Posting this complaint on this board shows that you are either ingnorant as to the way things work or are only trying to flame. Shouldnt you be preparing catering, coffee, hotel rooms, carrying bags or making sure someones wallstreet journal is on the appropriate seat opened to the proper page?

I hardly think that pointing out that Delta's use of substandard equipment on international routes when compared to the competition is flaming. They're falling behind, and that's a fact. No biggie though, people will just go elsewhere and it will just be another example of an airline scratching their heads and wondering where the pax went.

Regarding what you think I should be doing or what my job entails. Sorry to disappoint you, but ground handlers take care of the pax and crew baggage, the office takes care of the hotels, transport, filing, permits, etc., and our flight attendants take care of everything aft of the cockpit. We just tip, smile, and drive. Cheers.

Sorry, the cutesy @ss US carrier bashing with respect to "comfort just doesn't hold water. You ever been on an LH 737? An AF A320? A few FACTS (something this joke of a thread often leaves out.

Total seats on selected jets.
767-300 (int) AF 210, DAL 190
A320 AF 159-172, NWA 148, UAL 138, TED 156, JBlu 156-162
737-300 AF 134, UAL 120, SWA 137

Please feel free to correct any incorrect numbers, most were "off the top of my head".

My god man, you came up with those numbers off the top of your head?....are you a human computer or do you just need to get out more?

But really, my post was regarding long haul, international routes. Last time I checked nobody was using A320s or 737s on those and the only 767s Ive been on are with Delta or Egypt Air and for a pax there is no difference between the two; no room to sit, no room to walk or stand around, and no entertainment to help you forget the agony for awhile.

Then refer to the 20 seat diff between the DAL 767 and the AF one. The diff between the DAL 767 and the Egypt Air jet is the swimming lessons....

I dont see what all the whining is about with 767s on trans atlantic services. Sure in business elite/first, the larger 777/747s are great, but in coach, which is what I always fly, it drives me insane to be stuck in the middle part of a 2-5-2 or 3-4-3. At least with the 767 your only 1 seat away from the isle no matter where you are in coach. And I cant praise Delta enough for dumping the L10s on the hawaii routes and putting 764s on them instead. Hawaiian routes, its tough to not get in the middle unless you book a year in advance.
