The Mentality at northwest stinks and the way employees and regional pilots have being treated in that system is the reason why very few applications from their regional pilots.

I am always amused by dudes who have the energy to research my past posts.

I worked in the Northwest system and had the chance to observe Northwest employees espercially the pilots close up and never had a desire to be part of the group.
I could not believe my misfortune when they chased me to Delta asking for a merger.
I live in minneapolis and still have no desire for merger.

unfortunately all regionals seem to be treated unfairly by their mainline affiliates. I am sure there are some Comair pilots that feel the same way you do towards NWA. In fact i had a Comar guy in my class that couldnt stand DAL. Thats the unfortunate truth. Its our choice to either be part of the problem or part of the solution. You evidently are choosing to be part of the problem by talking down to YOUR ALPA brothers and soon to be co-workers. I have chosen to try and be part of the change. Example, I personally upgraded a Mesaba guy to first on my last trip. We had open seats so i went out of my way to get the agent to upgrade him. Did i have to do that? No but its the common courtesy we should all have towards one another as pilots. We as a union and a soon to be single pilot group need to pull our heads our of our arse's and start working together. I called you out not out of disrespect but to prove a point. I hope i was successful. Is that your "typical" NWA attitude? Again you are either part of the problem or the solution, you choose. YOU choose if you're going to be bitter through all of this. If thats how you want your career to be then i feel sorry for you. Lets not make this about race. I am really comfortable talking about it. One of my favourite topics. I am always ready to educate people on race. So maybe you should dig up some of my past post about the ills of racism and spread the word.To fully understand Speedbirds integrity everyone should compare his posts in this subject to his quote below. Keep it up Speedbird you're doing a great job discrediting yourself.
maybe you should take some of your own advice. For someone with such strong convictions against discrimination you sure are IGNORANT within this subject.
Do you know the history of Comair and Delta? There is alot of bad blood there. Most Delta pilots do not want Comair pilots hired at Delta. I have flown with some that have told the hiring dep. to not hire them b/c there woud be to many issues.
I have to be careful not to make this degenerate into one of those famous race trends on flightinfo.
There get very ugly and heated really quick and raise extremely deep emotions.
I have gotten into the trenches on many of those going into 4 star ratings with not much impact.
People are going to feel what they choose to feel about people. but my veiws on a merger suddenly has my statement about race as a standard for the value of my position. What makes you feel I believe I was wrong about the sentiments I expressed.
maybe you should paste the entire trend or are you trying to say because i am black my veiws do not count?
