You said at one time you were planning to get out of aviation. I call BS. You are bitter, stuck at a regional, and have no prospects anywhere else (with your personality, it's not hard to see why).

All that's left for you is an existence of trying to justify your poor decisions and attempt to blame mainline pilots for your lack of progression in this industry.

You are like a clown on fire. Kind of funny, kind of sad.

I plan on going to law school. But thanks for your opinion, for what it's worth (not much). Insults don't work with me... I don't care what you think... especially from random anonymous people on a message board. As someone else said "get a new hobby".

It is very entertaining, though, that I have the power to get all of you foaming at the mouth mad. I can feel your blood pressure rising from here. Y'all will never make it to Age 65 if you let yourselves get aggravated this easily. ;)

I think you are VERY mistaken, Delta's executives has control over Delta flying. When was the last you, as a Delta pilot decided to serve xyz city...you are a jerk...get over yourself sh_t rolls downhill and I think you need to revaluate your position on the hill

I know it's hard for you and Penne to accept, but it is there in black and white for all to see. It has nothing to do with me "getting over myself". It is the legaleese of the Delta PWA. Some people just can't handle looking at it for what it is. Four letters-RJDC. They lost.

Now he's going to law school when he can't even win a debate on an anonymous BB. You just gotta laugh.

Hey! Leave race out of this? Are you prejudice? The OBAP thread posters are going to be all over you now! ;)

Yes, I'm sure your new career as an ambulance chaser will be completely stress-free. Good luck to you....just keep telling yourself it was your "choice" not to go to a mainline carrier.

How's that LSAT studying going? You may have noticed a heavy emphasis on logic and reasoning. You should obtain extra tutoring on those subjects prior to taking the test--you're quite weak in those areas.

My attorney neighbor says he wishes he had become a pilot. I tell him I'm not so sure about that, but then he works 70 to 80 hours/week, always doing casework on weekends, drinking a lot (maybe he would be a good pilot). Makes more than me for sure.....QOL, even when you factor in my commute, sucks. YMMV

If you consider rape "giving it away"! We got the Scope when we had leverage. We accumulated it over time, in addition to other goodies and enhancements to our contract.

When the Possession Arrow pointed toward management, we lost some of our gains. They had leverage, through the management-friendly code written into Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy laws.

So, when was RJ feed for NWA announced? When did NWA's chapter 11 occur?

If you'd have convinced your ideological brethren to pony-up the "cooperation" in 2000, you coulda saved money on your interview suit.

Why do you keep saying this? The PID was denied right out of the gate.

It never made it to the point of talking about shared sacrifice and you know it.

You are feed...You are feed...You are feed.

737s don't feed the hub? MD-80s don't feed the hub? DC-9s?

In the hub and spoke system, everybody feeds the hub. Whether you're a "feeder" or not only depends on your compass heading.

Using "feeder" as a pejorative term to describe those pilots that are "less than" is a strategy of bigots and not conducive to unity. That epithet originated in management to create the apartheid.

Wasn't Scope given away by mainline pilots?

So, to fix the problem, shouldn't mainline pilots bear the "majority" of the cost?

Actually, it was sold for enhancements [in pay, workrules, and/or benefits] to the mainline agreements.

Seems like you're missing a pretty big point there. He's not talking about feeding the HUB, he's talking about feeding the mainline carrier. A separate airline subcontracted to feed the mainline airline AT a hub.

Pejorative? I think it's been said here that DAL pilots value the "feed" and that it is important to their success. Doesn't sound pejorative to me.

Funny thing is, I thought that you would not make it to 50. You're way to wound up if you are who I think you are. Take it easy.

Why do you take your job so personally? Jabs at the regionals and animosity at what they have made of this profession are not jabs at you. These jabs however are reasonable, understandable, and rooted in historical fact.

If you want to make a career of the regionals - go ahead, more power to you. It reminds me though of another industry group that has always tried to make a career out of what was never meant to be more than a job. I'll give you one guess who that group is. They often carry a similar chip on their shoulder as well as a ferocious inferiority complex.

PIPE
See here is what you arrogant ********************s don't get. While yall were out selling scope for more money, and then giving up more scope and all of your money in bankruptcy, the regionals and regional pay were growing significantly. Now after 12 years at a regional or less you will be making over 100k per year with 15 to 17 days off per month, four weeks of vacation per year, and bidding from the top third of the senority list. So you see you arrogant prick, I could care less about how big your airplane is, and personally I would'nt work at Delta or NWA if they were the last airlines on the planet. You bastards make me sick with your attitudes. You gave away scope, you gave away money, and you call me less than you.

Semantics? Ok. Delta is the brand which owns the hub. Delta pilots, in conjunction with Delta management, negotiate what flying will be performed by pilots on the Delta seniority list and what flying is allowed to be performed by fe....by pilots not on the Delta seniority list. At each negotiation between Delta and the Delta unit of ALPA, this "outsourced" boundary line is subject to amendment by either of the two aforementioned parties.

The outsourced parties must be informed of what the Delta unit of ALPA intends to negotiate for based on an overwhelming settlement for the thousands of man hours put in by and outside interest's lawyer, to the tune of about $600,000.

Not to be confused by the term "feeder".

How's that?

First of all...have you considered a treatment program for your crystal meth problem?

Second of all, it's good you don't want to work at a legacy. The feeling is mutual.

Enjoy your crumbs.
