DAL 767 lands taxiway M at ATL

TSA just made an announcement that in wake of the taxiway landing, the liquid carry-on allotment just went down to 1.2oz and must now fit in one lunch sized paper bag.

My problem with the double breasted suit is that you have to button the jacket or it looks stupid. With a regular blazer, you don't have to walk around with it buttoned up all the time. But then again, 2 Delta pilots were just given a second chance at life. So I guess, there are bigger issues than wearing double-breasted suits. We now have to make sure all Delta pilots are aware of the differences between white and blue lights, and how to properly identify runway markings vs. taxiway markings. The skill and credibility of the pilots at Delta are eroding away very quickly. Where are the Sulley's at Delta? I guess Cactus has all the heroes.

Yes, in fact it was utilized as the runway a few years back while the runway was being redone.

I didn't exactly frequent ATL during that time period.

"R" was used. South of 27L. Only cargo and NW maint hangar were southe of it back then (before rwy 10-28). I may be wrong, but I believe it was only used as a runway for turboprop A/C and not RJ or bigger.

Thanks! That one is quite a bit shorter. Someone earlier stated that 767 and smaller were allowed- that's at least second hand info, though. Take it for what it's worth coming from me.

Atleast they landed in the right city, didn't a Northwest or Continental Crew land in the wrong country some years ago?

Might have been both. NWA was going to FRA and ended up in BRU around 20 years ago.
