AirTran Airways to Build Operations Center in Orlando
- Fast-Growing Airline Will Expand its Orlando Headquarters and Add Jobs -
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan 02, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), will build a permanent, hurricane-hardened Systems Operations Control (SOC) center at Orlando International Airport, keep its existing Orlando headquarters and add high- paying jobs in Florida, the company announced Wednesday.

So do you AirTran guys think you'll ever get an MCO pilot base? I can't imagine how much the company spends on hotel rooms in Orlando with all the over-nights there.

Good news for our dispatchers and SOC folks.....spent a day with the duty managers down there last year....wasn't impressed with the facilities at all.

There used to be a crewbase in MCO...and Dallas (and I think I remember IAD) for that matter when I worked there.

So what does "da tranny" mean?
