well.....................funny you should ask.......... i was in kteb last night sunday........ went to customs / atlantic was told the agents where down at jet ......................... long story short waited over an hour for them finally to "clear" my aircraft..... agent told me they had to clear 5 a/c at jet then come up to atlantic clear 5 more (me included) then go back to jet for another three................ its absolutely horrible. 7hrs 30 from europe then over 1 hr wait for customs then 4 pax continuing on domestically with another a/c put a big dampner on otherwise great trip....very high profile customers left with a bad taste ..................thanks alot

HPN works great as an alternative too!!!!!!!!!!
I was based next door to TEB Customs and have had to wait more than 30 mins numerous times with 1+30 being the longest. Always got the lame, We had to clear xx planes down at Jet. Yeah riiight.........................
Now we do just about anything to bypass clearing at TEB.

thank´s for all this very helpfull infos - i will avoid TEB for customs. - i dont want to imagine my boss waiting 30 min or 1 hour for customs :angryfire

we went to HPN - about 8 min waiting at avitat, lady was showing up, walked around the 900 with her geiger counter, very friendly and quick service !

...also much nicer area to stay, TEB looks like a getto to me...

HPN customs has always been a quick, painless experience.

TEB - it has the location, but what a nightmare.

Yeah, but Jersey chicks are freaking hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!;)

After they shave.

The one cavet about customs at HPN is; they now require you to shut the aircraft down completly (including the APU) before they will clear you. They wil not do the giger counter test with the APU running. Depending upon the time of day, this can lead to a very hot, cold or dark cabin rather quickly. So warn your pax.
