What's the latest and greatest on Custom Air Transport? I have heard they are retiring their 727 fleet when the Dayton hub closes down. 747-200, 757, and DC-10 machines on the way. Any truth? Maybe I should put my resume in now.

First 747-200 is on its way from Europe, as per conversation with the Chief Pilot. They are estimating the new type on their certificate by the end of the year. My resume is now in!

I agree with the above, when DAY dies, CAT will be lucky to be alive....

What makes you think that DAY is the only business that CAT can get?

So JJS told you 747's are on the way?!?!

You sure your not confusing CAT with Focus? Thier 747-200 is in EHAM ready to come to the states.... already have a 747-300 parked on the north side of FLL.

I agree with the above, when DAY dies, CAT will be lucky to be alive....

Yes and yes. If Custom Air is getting 747's, I would think they have contracts and business for them.

How's the Bus?

All the manuals were in French, so I had a bit of a time figuring it out. Sacre bleu!! :D

Argh, I think godvek has lost his bloody mind!!

Maybe a bad caes of the scurvvy, or the clap!!

CAT has but one life left, and it will die with Emery!! Thank the heavens, its about blarney time Tony Romeo goes out of business!!

Still, with Peagsus in his pocket, anything can happen!!

Shiver me Timbers!!

T-Gates,

I heard the same thing from one of their pilots, that they will be starting 747 ground school this summer in MIA, not sure where this aircraft is coming from, but here comes another 747 operator in an already crowded field!
