Current employer contacted during application process?

Hello, all. Have any NetJets applicants here had their current employers contacted by NJs for training/drug testing records prior to a job offer?

Just curious. I am filling out an application now and certainly don't want my present employer to know I'm looking elsewhere.

My employer was contacted after I accepted the job. This was in August 2005.

Mine was contacted 2 months before my class date. A little soon but I felt pretty certain my NJ class would happen so it wasn't too big of a deal.

Last I remembered it asks you if they can contact your current employer. They won't if you say no until they consider you for employment.
