What type of rewards credit card do you all use? I will be running all expenses through my personal card including; meals, hotels (mostly Hiltons & Marriots), and rental cars, and would obviously like to max the reward benefits. I was told to get an AMEX Hilton card...any other suggestions??? I will not be riding the airlines much, so I don't care about the frequent flyer miles.

Thanks for the help.

I don't have a list, but my partner has AMEX and I have to pay when they don't take AMEX. Which happens several times a year and I always tease him about how much that AMEX card cost. Mine is free and lots of points.

I would have a back up for sure!

Marriott Visa.

I'm using the points to get my kid a unicycle for Christmas. I'm getting a ten-gallon hat. ;) TC

You can also get a Hilton Visa or Hilton Mastercard if you don't want the Amex. However, I don't know if they acrue points the same as the Amex. I too have had several incidences when Amex wasn't accepted, Usually at mom & pop joints or convenient stores.

I currently use a Capital One Visa, but I know I'm not getting as much points as I would using a credit card that's links with a hotel chain or airline.

i love the complete randomness of this post. a unicycle, that is sweet. even sweeter is the 10-gallon hat.

While I'm quite capable of random thought, it's from a Holiday Inn commercial that kind of spoofs point whores.

Oldtimer--Awsome avatar! Not 'Porn star awsome' but awsome in the general/humorous sense. :D TC
