Yea, I was sitting there trying to stay awake for the opening arguments yesterday. That prosecutor is pretty magnanimous...the whole time she was talking, I was thinking the jury was reaching for their Cherry Vanilla Diet Doctor Peppers and I was thinking of how much I'd need to drink before...where were we? Oh yea, the case...Northern Lights said:The talking head that they were just interviewing said that she would feel better if all pilots had to take a breathalizer test upon arrival at the airport...
Simon Says said:They just had Globe Security up on the stand saying they felt like they saved the lives of hundreds of people.

Northern Lights said:Someone emailed Court TV and suggested that pilots be required to reveal past DUI convictions and undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
Simon Says said:The manager of the check point just testified that he has pre-consieved notions of all pilots going through the check point. They are all "arrogant and cause most of the trouble at the check point"
A Squared said:Really? the prosecutor is "generous in forgiving" ??? that's odd, that's not a quality usually found in prosecutors.
I don't recall saying that she was magnanimous in her duties as a prosecutor...just that she is of generous proportions...and spirit.Main Entry: mag·nan·i·mous

Vodka is a Russian word, you know.

.
Do you think they'll replay it tomorrow? Will I be able to see it in the hotel in Winnipeg?User997 said:Then all she could do is blast that Flight Attendant for showing so much cleavage.... blah, blah, blah. Like a group full of jealous wives talking down about the cute girl at her husbands work. Get over it already.
FN FAL said:...Also, is it me or are those chicks on "court tv" the variety that seems like they would be into castration as a hobby. That one lady commentator was making comment about the tavern security videotape and said the pilots were "cowboys" "having a good time laughing it up and touching women".
I'm thinking, if it weren't for the fact that they were within a few hours of flying a jet, aint that what you're supposed to do in a bar? Dang, they are accused of DUI operation of an airliner, not with being gay.
