Add to the above that the APA, our valuble "codeshare" partner
(that doesn't give us fee for departure, only an unspecified portion
of the ticket price) won't let us go to places like RDU, only to "Hubs"
that are already saturated (except for stl, which isn't a hub anymore)
and the lack of intestinal fortitude exibited towards finding a new
codeshare...

truly, priceless. Where is the "viability" of the 19 seat market?

To answer your question, The 19 seat market is for companies that do not want to spend money trying to grow an airline, but rather suck off off the Government teet.

How is the UNION thing going now? Has anyone contacted the pilots at CRAPEX? And what about the BIG meeting on monday? I hope if management does not respond to your requests, that you can get the support to do what I was told that you want to do.

off the top of my head I would have to say to your questions,

I can answer that. The agrivation of being treated with disrespect,
of having pay frozen, the lie of "big things are comming" and deteriorating
quality of life for those of us left is going to take a while to get over.

There is just no excuse for for treating professionals like expendable
burger flippers. None.

I have never seen so many good people wasted so badly.

He cares because he is a professional...and he has shown the
ability to stand up to the people that need to be stood up to,
even on the way out. Didn't get any answers (at least satisfactory
ones) but at least he asked. A little ballistic sometimes, a little too
intense maybe. But we deserve some respect, especially in the
paycheck.

There is alot more to being a profesional than keeping your hat on straight.

first things first- Hi, Fred.

So, how did the meeting go? Did you hear anything you didn't expect to hear? More importantly, whatever they said, and I'm dying to hear what that was, was a firm timeline attached to it? As in, "we'll get back to you in two weeks?" or whatever? I hear that things were very civil, and the bigwigs (sorry, Fred) seemed anxious to not antagonize the pilot group.
Please post a polite postscript promptly.

You guys are so mean to each other and Crapex. Try some yoga. I'm sorry I couldn't attend the meeting today. I was given the hint that I should not go. . . then told that I WOULD NOT be attending the meeting today. I sent good joo-joos to you from my homestead. I'm prepping for tomorrow's new hire class. I plan on sending them good joo-joos too. Please don't undermine my efforts. Corpex gave me a chance I would only have gotten at Great Mistakes (had I not gotten in a fight with my interviewer). It is a great starting place, and they never meant for it to be anything else. Does my pay suck A$$? Yes. Do I hope the meeting today awakened the giants? Yes. Everyone leaving is now job security for me. That sucks too, because I'd rather be flying. I will do my best to make things as good as possible in the position I'm in. Any suggestions? (open shot)

I really do appreciate the guys who have left, and are still on here griping about us. It touches me because I know you still care. Big smooches and very good joo-joos to your careers. You are good pilots due, in part, to the Jet Pig.
