I used to fly cargo out of BNA and became pretty good friends with a one of the controllers there. We ended up fishing a professional bass tournament trail one summer. When he was working, he would refer to me as Bassmaster 123, and occasionally would tag a note onto my flight plan for the next controller to do the same. He's one of the coolest ones out there.

Tower: United XXXXX I have some good news and some bad news for you, which would you like first?

United: How about the bad?

Tower: Flow control says it's going to be another 45 minutes before you are released.

United: That stinks, how about the good news?

Tower: I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geiko!
