Could some shed some light on how those 113 at Xjet got "rights" to flow through to CAL?
They are the most senior 113 pilots on our list (other than the flowbacks from CAL and those who made the decision to be "lifers" at XJT). Prior to 9/11, they had class dates to flow over (it gets muddy but the flow-through agreement was being terminated due to XJT's IPO and CAL extended class dates to 118 pilots in a block with no ratio, 5 of whom have left to other airlines in the past few years) to CAL and they retained those rights once hiring resumed. As such, they will be the first 113 pilots hired by CAL after the last furloughed CAL pilot is recalled.
