So after all these posts, what have we learned?

1) Everyone loves the Q400.
2) Everyone has put in a bid for the CO Q400 flying.
3) It will probably go bottom-barrel pay scale.
4) Only QX and WP currently operate Q400s.
5) Apparently Colgan's Saabs are falling apart.
6) No one currently has the ability to hire and train enough folks for the Q400 contract.

Where does that leave us? Anyone?

Well, WP 'delayed' the 2nd Q400 and it's still on the mainland. The company is actively seeking mainland flying. There are a handfull of trained Q400 pilots that were displaced when the second Q didn't show.

Hmmmmm.

i just got my CDL, so I can taxi the saabs where i need to go. Can i claim toll roads as an expense on my taxes??

Congratulations on getting your CDL. You will earn more money with that over the course of your working career than you ever will be able to with that worthless piece of plastic called a pilot's license you have in your wallet. Unless you have an inside track to a great corporate job. Sad but true
