But on the rest of your international, your pilots are curled up in a row of coach using your uniform jacket for a pillow. That must be a nice sight for the customer.
Well.... not exactly. We sit in BusinessFirst, or get 3 seats in economy. Havn't had to use the jacket as a pillow, but good idea. Usually have a businessfirst pillow, but always have been up front so never an issue. On occassion folks have been in the back, but lately the BusinessFirst seats have worked out.Additionally most guys put something over the uniform and with the rest of the plane sleeping does not appear to be concerning to the customers.
Either way, not being guaranteed some sort of decent rest seat is a pathetic way to be running an international operation...and not a good way to be spending 1/3 of your flight. The 764 can have some pretty long legs.
Then again, we used to have an INFLATABLE rest compartment on the MD11s so I guess I can't bash you too badly.
