My airline has a cockpit j/s International agreement with Continental. I need to get information on the procedures on listing myself for the jumpseat on International flight. I understand that I need to be listed at least 1 hour before departure. Is there a number I can call? Thanks!
 
About a year ago I jumpseated from EWR to LIS and back courtesy of Continental.

I was not really sure either and just went with the flow. This is how it went down for me... I called the 800 ticketing number and had them list me as a non-rev I kept the PNR and then got to the gate at about an hour ahead of time and asked for the jumpseat I told the lady I also had a PNR if she wanted to change that. Outbound from the US it was easy, just like any other jumpseat. INbound I did the same thing 1 hour prior and was told I needed to pay the departure tax for lisbon. I went around the corner to the next podium paid about 20usd and came back to the counter with my proof and the lady printed out a boarding pass.

If you didn't know, CASS people are still prohibited from the actual cockpit on international flights. I wound up with 1st class both ways so it was a moot piont. Good luck! Just remember flexibily and patience are key in international jumpseating.

Also think of having a ZED pass for another airline as a plan B incase things go south for you...
 
Going is pretty straight forward...... coming back is dependant on where you are coming from. I go to Panama quite abit and sometimes when you go to counter they have no idea what a jumpseater is... I have found it helps to be in uniform but you hopefully will have somebody who understands you enough to look it up in the computer. Obviously most destinations see many more OLJS so will not have a problem with this.... I have been told you do not need to list, just go to counter,,, be early so you make TSA cutoff, also if possible get a roundtrip ticket or some type of listing from USA side as this makes it much easier
