Congress in response to consumer complaints about confusion on ticket pricing has passed a law to ensure that consumers of airline tickets will be able make a easier comparison of ticket prices. Add-on fees, such as airports fees, taxes, etc. will no longer be listed separately. This will make it easier for the consumer to find the cheapest fare and save money.

Thank god! Finally, government is going to step in and save the day! That saves me, what, 2, maybe 3 clicks on kayak.com? I've always had such a problem clicking on the 'buy now' link once the total price was displayed, it's soooo confusing looking for the lowest number. Now, if we could just eradicate stupidity and impose fairness on all of nature's creatures, the unicorns would be very happy.

I think congress should mandate that everyone be forced to carry aviation insurance and then when u want to travel somewhere its covered by your insurance. It works for medical, dental, vision, social security, medicare, and automotive insurance. Since we need to protect people from the evil airlines we should just have an individual mandate on airline insurance. Write your reps! We need moar protections!

Yes. Obama is a socialist and he is for more regulation and he is anti business.

Not at all like a Republican that would have done healthcare reform as a corporate giveaway, kept us in TOTALLY pointless wars in Asia, stood firm against regulating banks (which are now larger and more profitable), kept tax rates low on the super rich, allowed drilling in the gulf even after they EXPLODED an oil rig and filled it with oil.....

No. You just prioritize your decision making process with emotions. You are probably artistic in nature which is a very emotional characteristic.

Wars and exploding oil rigs are disturbing thoughts. So is global warming and under nourished children. Some can put aside those horrible thoughts to better use their mind for ultimately the most rational decision when it comes to dealing with matters. It doesn't mean they can't feel those awful thoughts. It just means they can make decisions without emotions clouding the process too much.
