Anderson and Steenland have always kept their regionals under a tight thumb and close to home.
I don't mean them saying, "Your better get your performance up or you will lose/gain flying." They don't care about performance.
I mean they call up Spanjer's and say "We're taking you into bankruptcy, but you'll be better when you come out of it" or call up Tenary and say "We're taking 15 or you aircraft to give to XJ, deal with it."
Any company or CEO that cannot/will not deal with that kind of supervision/management becomes a liability to these guys, and their ASA's could be in jeopardy.
I am not trying to start any kind of bashing here, just stating how these two have operated over the years. Anderson is the reason Bedford left XJ back in 2000, those two never got along.
