WOW 89% bought the ALPA Kool-aid, you learn soon enough. Good luck.

Actually as posted in a my earlier post as follows:

According to PCL-128's other thread,

http://forums.flightinfo.com/showthread.php?t=112860&highlight=commutair

The actual percentage was 90.6% and if you were to subtract the 4 pilots on some sort of leave, a couple of whom have been gone for over a year and most likely didn't get their information to vote or just weren't able to vote, the percentage would go up to 93.8%.

This solidarity just shows how terrible the work rules and pay issues have become at this once respectable regional.

We didn't drink any Kool-Aid; we've been living on peanuts. Think about this, the difference between a large pizza and a CommutAir pilot is that a large pizza can feed a family.

Hopefully with ALPA's representation our pilot group will be able to finally have some enforceable work rules and realize a much needed pay increase.

I'm sorry that ALPA has not been ideal for some but for our pilot group which is way to small for an in-house union we have sought the best alternative. Thanks for your support.
