The NTSB report suggest the GS indications were unrelaible due in part to improper bonding between the static strips on the radome and the airframe. On the 1900 the GS antenna is inside the radome.
We digress however. There is a big difference between trying to fly an approach into KSLK in IMC under normal operations, and trying to get the airplane on the ground in KCMH quickly during an emergency with a violent passenger trying to get into the cockpit. This crew did a great job, and anyone who has flown the mighty Beech and know how vulnerable the crew is to unruly passengers would not criticize them getting down ASAP.
