Once the new deal is done, I would expect a blend of number 1 and 2. The first year pay will come up so we will be able to attract people to come to ASA. The scheduling and other QOL improvements will hopefully entice them to stay at ASA.
 
I can't believe some people now consider the regionals a step down from flight instructing. Maybe a little exaggeration but the perception is in the sewer right now. Even with a raise, increased time off, improved bennies, etc. they're still not even close to being competitive with the Net Jets of the world. They are getting hit on both ends recruiting and retention. If there was ever a chance to negotiate for improved working conditions at the regionals this is it.
