Right, but it also says a regional pilot makes $62,000 after 5 years. I wish!

This industry will never have any shortage of ho-bags.... Just look at what Allegiant people are flying for-or what ValuJet people flew for back in the day..... Not good for people in Gen Lee's position. Just like GoJet and Pncl are not good for people in mine

-The bar keeps getting lower for everyone-but how do you stop it, really?

Looks like Mesa, GoJets, Pinnacle & Colgan are the wh0res of the industry. No surprises there.

Unlike Mesa and GoJet, PCL and CJC are trying to do something about it. Not everyone is blessed with getting hired at reputable carriers....some of have to fix the ones we got.

I work for a regional and I made more than that in my 3rd year.

Well you probably lucked out. Probably Compass or getting in at RAH at the right time. But for 95% of the regional pilots they aren't gonna see that in just 3-5 years.

How many professional jobs put you in a big city and expect you to live on less then 20k a year?

It would be interesting to look at that graph and see the correlation to lower pay and stupid actions by pilots that lead to deaths... Oh wait. Never mind.
