planning doesn't even have the numbers figured out yet but that's probably close. Maybe a little on the high side though...

Preemption to be the biggest loser. If there was any sort of self-respect left in this profession, pilots would refuse the common assumption that all pilots are whores, therefore I should be one too.

What you have there is not a simple fact, but a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Yup. A goofy, not realistic, somewhat socialistic, fantasy. That's what we have here.

Welcome to the free market, pal.

Translation: Joe Merchant will do his part to maintain lowering the wage scale against you in order to ensure his own safety and security in the little piece of ATR heaven he's sliced out for himself.

You are right. We should be putting the screws to Delta, and really costing them a bundle! Let's taxi out with both engines, run the APU from gate to gate, and get big pay raises.

What was the slogan? "Full pay to the last day..."

I, for one, would choose a little lower pay with a job, than higher pay temporarily.

How small-minded of you. Had the old-timers not sold out their scope and had the new guys, like Merchant, not been so willing to swallow a load of sh*t wages, we all would be flying for mainline.

So there you have it. It's a race to the bottom, and you all are contestants.

My wages have increased every year for the past 14 years....Most years I got 2 payraises...This year I will make about 112K a year flying a turboprop....I don't think I am the problem....

You are a contestant also....Who do you work for?
