On a recent flight the Collins TWR-850 radar in our King Air displayed a sporadic yellow "WXFAULT" message, then went back to normal, then about one hour into the flight, WXFAULT came back and stayed on.

Could anyone shed some light into what is causing this? Our mechanic is an A&P guy but avionics is not his expert subject matter.

Thanks

can you go to a diagnostic page and pull up the fault codes? Maybe, Rockwell Collins could help you with this.

tried it, no luck. Sitting here at 9 PM and dos cervezas later, I can't exactly remember what the diag page exactly "said" but I recall no fault code/problem being shown.

write it up

Ops checks good.

Thank you, have a nice day.
