OR so says Chuck Colgan to the pilots being interviewed....

1 pilot gets hired at CO and now Colgan has preferred hiring..... Too funny!!

And they wonder why people are leaving...it because of crap like this.

Let's see...
50 seaters...
Jets in 2 years
preferential treatment to hiring at CAL

how many more lies before the next accident...

Gee, chperplt, did you make a big mistake by leaving Colgan. You no longer have preference at CAL. You'd be at CAL by now if you haven't left for Comair.

Yea, I know it.. I could be sitting in EWR right now enjoying all the funky smells the town has to offer.

On second though... I'll stick with my MD80 gig and not having to commute anymore.

How do you like the 170?

Obviously he loves it or he wouldn't be flying it for next to nothing.

A very wise Colgan mechanic once told me, "Colgan will get jets when Delta is transporting people - StarTrek-style".

That seems about right to me. In about 400 years, I would have the opportunity under the leadership of Mike Colgan XXXIX to bid ERJ-135 Captain in Allentown.

Yea, and that's why you PM'd me last week asking for hiring info... Get a life dude!

Enjoy your ERJ!

I have heard colgan does have preferred interviews at CAL. I don't believe it though. When you fill out the app and get to the part where you pick from the affiliations colgan doesn't technically apply. They have one for "Continental Express", but that isn't colgan. We are continental connection. I interpret that as 2 different things. Commutair is connection also, not express. I could be wrong. They also had ERAU grad, ATA furlough, i think WIA, and some others.
